Knicks vs Magic preview

Tonight is the first meeting between the new look Knicks and a team that has also gone through some major changes over the past couple months, the Orlando Magic.

The Magic have gotten off to a bit of a rocky start with the new (the a-hole formerly known as Agent Zero, Jason Richardson) and the returning old (Turkoglu) faces but they can still be a dangerous team, especially in their shiny new arena.

The Knicks, meanwhile, should be playing with some confidence after the big win in Miami, and tonight should be a good test for them. Are they going to be over confident and think that they've accomplished something now? Are they going to listen to the dumb talk that says they've somehow become a defensive juggernaut over night because they played a good half of defense against Miami? Or are they going to stay focused and do the things that helped them win that game in the first place?

Should be interesting to see how they try to contain Dwight Howard with Ronnie Turiaf (uh-oh) or Shawne Williams (God help us) or maybe Amare (not likely since they'll want to keep him out of foul trouble). I expect a close game with the home team pulling it out in the end.
