Best way to boost the crappy economy: LEGALIZE IT. Let the government regulate it and weed sales would bring in sooooo much money (minus the shady illegal money the govt probably receives currently). The worst thing someone has ever done while under the influence of marijuana is fallen asleep. Meanwhile, drinking (whose legality is not questioned) ruins your health, makes you hit on terrible-looking women and want to kill people. This is a no-brainer.
Don't give me any moral rhetoric, not in this age when our supposedly most ethical figures (like politicians and priests) are touching little boys, secretly fathering bastard children, and routinely yamming prostitutes. There is absolutely nothing wrong with lighting up a doobie when you get home from work and putting on some Beach Boys.
America needs to stop being so square and start embracing the ganja.
