Given Bottle Boy's new found insight into sneaky moves, what the hell is going on? Why would he give the Nuggets all that leverage back?
Could it be he realized what a joke the Knicks are? Isaiah Thomas somehow gets involved in this mess and Melo says he may just stay where he is. Has the idea that Zeke is lurking and the prospects of having a moron for an owner and another one for a head coach/general manager in the future just turned him off to the whole idea?
Could it be that Carmelo is now trying to gain leverage on the teams that are interested in signing him? He does have to sign a contract extension if he's traded anywhere. Maybe this is his attempt to scare teams into offering BIG money for him.
