Happened to catch this cult classic over the weekend. Besides the funny looking 1980 special effects, here are a few reasons to watch this very strange movie:
-Debbie Harry is in it and she burns herself with Cigarettes.
-It has James Woods in it and you actually have heard of him.
-In one scene the main character hallucinates that he has an opening in is stomach, and he stuffs a gun and a Betamax tape in there.
-Ranked #23 in the Total Film's 23 Weirdest Films of all Time.
-It was filmed on location in Canada.
Seems like a crazy and controversial movie for 1980 once you see it, don't expect a normal modern movie and you will enjoy it.
David Cronenberg, he's done a lot of crazy movies. You should check them out.
